Mutual Aid Exchange: Household Items
Northside Neighbors are working to build Mutual Aid support pathways. One of those ways is to do item giveaways/exchanges. This month is Household Items including: Office supplies, sheets, blankets, decor, small furniture. You don’t need to bring something to take something. This is a great way to move items out of their home that aren’t serving you anymore, and allow them to serve someone who needs it.

Mutual Aid: Clothing Swap
Our next Mutual Aid Swap is Clothes! Please make sure items are clean. You don’t need to bring an item to take an item. Our goal is to ensure neighbors have access to resources they need. More details to come.

Mutual Aid Swap: Entertainment
Monthly Mutual Aid Swap with Entertainment! Think games, books, puzzles, video games, you name it. You do not need to bring items to receive items. This also NNO so we will have a bonfire going with some hangout time!

Fire and Honey
Time to sit around the fire in the garden and enjoy stories. We will also be providing honey for tea or cocktails and sharing adventures in Bee Keeping. You can even come and meet the bees!

Mutual Aid Swap: Arts and Crafts
Bring any and all your art and craft supplies that you aren’t using anymore. Lots of folks have that pile of projects that we were gonna do at one point, and now it’s five years later. A reminder that you don’t need to bring items to take items. We will also have a bonfire going while we hang in the garden.

Pumpkin Give Away
This is our annual FREE Pumpkin Give Away! Over a 100 pumpkins are donated to the garden every year to allow families and households to walk down with their wagons and strollers and baskets to pick a pumpkin, enjoy some warm cider and treats and play a game or two.

Mutual Aid: Tool Swap & Garden Clean Up
Stop at Folwell Park to drop off or pick up garden tools for free. Then come by the garden for spring clean up! We will have snacks and music and good vibes.

Mutual Aid: Seed Giveaway & Nature Art Project
The Story Garden is striving to help create a strong pollinator environment with giving away free flower seeds! We have also been working on collecting seeds and would like to support any neighbor looking to grow their own food or flowers. Come to the garden to pick up free seeds, and if you have some to share, feel free to bring what you have to share with your neighbors!
We will also be doing Nature Art in the garden! Using seeds and leaves and paper and glue and paint to create beautiful nature inspired art! Come for the seeds, stay for the Art project!
Girl scouts planting night
A local girl scout troupe came to plant the seedlings for the garden and will come back to put them in the ground. Anyone is welcome to come join, as the more the merrier. Many hands make light work!
